Q&A: KAR Group President Baz Karim

Baz Karim is something of an entrepreneurial peace-maker. In 2004, his firm, KAR Group, was contracted by Baghdad to bring equipment to the northern point of the Kirkuk oil field, called Khurmala Dome. But Khurmala is officially in Erbil province, and as the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) was formed and became more powerful, it took administrative control over Khurmala Dome.
