Kurdistan hamstrung by pipeline outages, oil field attacks

ERBIL - Kurdistan has lost more than $55 million so far in August, due to three days of export pipeline outages and a drop in production after attacks on the Bai Hassan oil field.

The Kurdistan Regional Government's (KRG) oil export pipeline has been down for more than 80 hours this month because of technical problems in Turkey, three oil officials briefed on oil exports said.
