Baghdad-Erbil oil feud: the documents

BAGHDAD - The escalating oil dispute between Baghdad and the semi-autonomous Kurdistan region has been long on bombast and short on facts.

Each side says the other has broken the terms of an export deal signed in January 2011, but both have declined to make the text of that agreement public. They have accused each other of smuggling, but they have not provided proof – or installed the comprehensive metering and auditing systems necessary to prove their own integrity.
