Iraqi Cabinet decisions: Aug. 3, 2016

Prime Minister, Dr. Haider al-Abadi, confirmed that the questioning of officials and ministers must be professional and should not turn into a political questioning. He explained that during the cabinet meeting held on Wednesday that the government isn't against the parliament's role in questioning, stressing the necessity to crack down when there are serious corruption accusations, which has become a case of public opinion raised during the questioning session of the defense minister, calling on the ministers to not allow any blackmailing and to expose it.

The Council of Ministers discussed the current cases and the IDPs situations, as well as the efforts made to speed up their return to their liberated cities within the stability restoration program. The council made decisions regarding the issues listed in the meeting's list of agenda.
