The Iraqi Council of Ministers held its normal session on Tuesday, May 2, headed by Prime Minister Dr. Haider al-Abadi.

The Council discussed the parliamentary election law, and voted to amend the bill and submitted it to parliament.

The Council voted in favor of protectionist measures for 10-32 mm-sized iron bars, adding a 5% tariff for each produced unit for four years, without lowering the fees for Iraqi imports from all sources.
