VIENNA - Iraq's oil leadership was especially busy at this week's gathering of OPEC, as the cartel's second-largest producer continues to solidify its position in the market after decades sidelined by war and sanctions.

On the heels of another record month of exports, Oil Minister Adil Abd al-Mahdi was a keynote speaker on Wednesday at the group's International Seminar.
