Two days ‘at least’ until north pipeline fix

The northern export pipeline will not be back online until Thursday despite earlier expectations damage from the explosion repaired Tuesday.

KIRKUK - Sources in Iraq's North Oil Co. said the oil export pipeline bombed Saturday night will not be fixed until at least Thursday, despite expectations it would be fixed and exports resumed Tuesday.

"The pipeline at least two more days to get back to service," the source told Iraq Oil Report. The explosion took place near the village of Sharqat, 50 miles south of Mosul.
