At the same time the IOSCO business plan was being finalised, two separate tender bids for the drilling of a total of 60 wells in IOSCO's initial geographic focus area were announced by the Missan Oil Company. IDC on behalf of IOSCO, recently submitted proposals to drill and provided all the oilfield services, requested in those tenders, to the Missan Oil Company.

Now that the joint venture is signed and IOSCO is established it seems that all promises made by MPC prior to the JV have been forgotten.
