Iraq and Turkey are nearing a final agreement on new contract terms for exporting Iraqi crude via pipeline to a port on Turkey's Mediterranean coast.
Sources tell Iraq Oil Report a delegation from Turkey, led by the energy minister, could reach a deal over the coming days during a visit to Baghdad. Iraq's Oil Minister is out of the country, heading to a conference in Mexico and then to the United States, but has given authority to his deputies to finalize the deal.
