Oil exports earned more than two and a half billion dollars in April as increased exports from Iraq’s south overcame the loss in northern output for an extra 7,000 barrels per day (bpd).
This boost from March oil exports comes as Iraq’s oil is fetching prices not seen since before November 2008, according to new Oil Ministry data.
