The "success" of Sharastani in engineering the two new oil contracts in Rumalia and W,Quarna is leading to comparisons with the KRG contracts(PSC's)which appears to put the KRG contracts in a bad light. The reality is that the PSC is a good model for the KRG to follow and the Sharastani C's are possible only because of the prior development and massive size of the Rumalia and Q.Quarna fields. The KRG should be proud of the progress it has made in encouraging development in a completely different environment --ie exploration of smaller fields. The fact that the MOO is being criticised for the TSC's shows how divided opinion is on the oil contract issue.
