KRG sets July general elections

Iraqi Kurdish leader says July 25 will be poll day for regional parliament.

Voters in Iraq's Kurdistan region, not bound by general Iraqi election laws, will vote July 25 in parliament elections.

The date was announced Friday by Massoud Barzani, president of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG).
