Hallo. Now the export is a fact. Every day DNO export 60000 barrels of oil. When do Irac pay for the job DNO have done for the people of Irac and KRG. No one want to work for others without beeing payd for all their investment and expenses they have had.
What do the international oil industry think of investing in Irak when companies have to wait years on pay back. I think it is possible to make this a win win situasion for all involved. Then all parts have to axept the agremeents.
I think that KRG and Irac can ask for and make regulations where they ask foreign companies to be good business partners for Irac. The companies must ask for a business clima there would help them to make desisions long time forward. People have to trust eatch other.
A am a small shereholder. Glad to what have happend in finding oil and what it can do for people in Irac. But you have to do your part of the deal. I am waiting.

Abbas: You are wrong, in fact it is baghdad who tries to twist everything for their own benefit. They are just jealous because of what Krg has achieved. An economic and democratic boom these years resulted in developing rapidly. After what saddam and Iraqi arabs did to Kurds you have guts to say kurds has no rights. Krg is aiding ARAB FAMILIES with food and shelter who flee their homes from civil war. You should be a ashame. We do take care of them, be careful what you are saying some might be even your relatives fleeing. Second you cannot force a identity upon someone. Why would kurds be in a iraq were the leaders in baghdad steals money, works against Kurds and implenting laws of former dictator Saddam hussein? Many iraqis(arabs) denying in fact that there is a Kurdistan. Even when it says in the Iraqi constitution they prefer not mentioning it. If krg says oil is for iraqi people then what is the problem? i think baghdad has failed building up iraq and helping iraqi people so when Krg wants to change the situation Maliki and his gang are getting arrogant as usual. Best option go for independence, which is going to happen soon. Wether it is oil or the water Baghdad goingto complain every time. Krg has all constitution rights to export and sign contracts. it really sad to see Baghdad acting immature.

All this and other conflicts is because the Kurds are not being FAIR during all past years since the fall of the Saddam's regime. Kurds have been trying to get benefit of the situation and being greedy as they want to grasp as much as they can without sharing it with the rest of the countries. They want to have two rights, one as a Kurd and one as an Iraq, yet they don't consider themselves as Iraqi's and they are not behaving in any way as part of Iraq nor they care about the rights of the rest of the Iraqis.
It's just the truth and the reality, really sad!

There is more than enough wealth, land, resources, opportunities, etc.... for all Iraqi's yet all groups want to seize control and dominate. All their representatives and leaders are driven by personal goals and benefits; none is really working for the country.

If KRG is a good example and they are doing well, how come that the same people have been governing forever, family controlled area and full with corruptions? Really sad!

The best thing for both Iraq, KRG and the people is to say YES to export.

That will be a vital and good sign to the international oil business. It will bring income to the budgets and everyone is happy.

Why wait to say YES?

This is a win-win-win situation!

All best for you and your country.

The debate between the KRG and the Bagdad Ministry of Oil seems to be over nothing. Both parties appear to agree that the revenue from the oil in Kurdistan region will go to Bagdad:
In Hawrami's words, the income from the oil production in Kurdistan would be "100 percent collected by the Ministry of Finance in Baghdad".

If they are both agreeing to this, what on earth is the problem?? What has the KRG to gain by obstructing the Ministry of Oil in Bagdad? Perhaps they just want to have a hand in deciding how much the Oil companies will be paid, on behalf of the whole country; so that the Iraqi treasury receives as much income as possible ...

Can anyone shed any light on this?

It is sad to see how unproductive this issue has been dealth with since the beginning of 2007. Iraq and Kurdistand have been blessed with a large amount of hydrocarbon resources and this could have given the coundtry the needed finances to rebuild the country for the benefit of the region, country and the people.

Instead the political conflict has up to now ended up in a lose lose situation for all invilved parties. It is difficult to see the approach will convince international oil companies to invest in the country when companies are stopped from making the income.

It is also difficult to understand how the oil ministry are stopping to start up new revenue streams into a country where money is much need.

Give the companies ready to export the licences and use this opportunity to show the oil industry that you this time mean serious business and not to play another game.
