Fooling the people by God's expectations, that is what the terrorists are always using for.

Allahu Akbar, abandon the president of Allah
Again the unrest in Iran.

All Iranian Islamic presidents are coming from the same regime. The first president was against the Imam Khomeini and therefore dismissed. The second president was assassinated by a bomb attack. Ali Khamanei, the current president of Iran, was the third president. In that time Iran had also a premier. Mir Mousavi (the rival candidate to Ahmadinajad) was in that time the Islamic premier. He was the premier in the time of the most human rights violations.
Not Mousavi, but Imam Khomeini was leading the most rude human rights violations. Mousavi has never opposed against the freedom restriction and massif executions of non-Islamic opinions. Ironically enough Mousavi is now standing after tow decades opposite to the same monster that he used to serve for.
Rafsanjani was the 4th president of Iran. Ali Khamanei became the leader of the Islamic regime. Rafsanjani accelerate the economy of Iran, after 8 years absurd war against Iraq. But what the price paid for that? The forming of economical mafia, friends and acquaintances, exists mainly out of Rafsanjani clan. In that period raised also a sort Islamic aristocratic under the Rafsanjani supervision. Corruption became the criteria. Also Rafsanjani is responsible for the crude and massive human rights violations. Hundreds of opposition leaders (also in Europe) were killed under the direct supervision of Rafsanjani. At the same time, he is a big opportunist- pragmatics if you want so called- who is ultimately ready to negotiate with everybody. However Rafsanjani introduced also a pillar within the regime. In the west they called “moderate” fraction. He was not (very) severe about the women clothes, other individual freedoms were underhand, thus not by rules, tolerated. Since then many Iranian became schizophrenic: whisky drinking men with beards were not forming exceptions. As far as the foreign media is concerned, Rafsanjani strived to a model a la China; via economical and military power trying to become a regional super power. A diplomatic relaxed environment is a pre condition. Well building a nuclear power, but not be involved in political rhetoric. Sowing the confusion in diplomatic relationships was his hinge policy. Actually Khamanei was always against this policy. But he had not enough power at the beginning to fight against it.
The president’s elections have never been such an exciting issue in Iran. Until the 5th president Khamanei, who openly started talking a bout the individual freedom. This caused to the students uprising of 1999, with all dramatic impacts. Many students were killed, arrested and tortured. On that moment chose Khatamy for the regime and since then decided the leader of Iran to organise the election tightened. The do not want to take any risk. So they parachuted Ahmadinajad.
But now the one pillar wants to swallow the other (the one form Rafsanjani) pillar up. Men want within the regime, a great cleansing. Mousavi could not and was not allowed to be a president. This is because of the fact that the current regime is afraid of by introducing the individual freedom and dismantling of the aggressive nuclear programme and the ideological fundaments, the regime will come in danger. They are: destroying of Israel, implementing al Sharia, fighting against the western culture and juridical imperialism and exporting the political Islam.
People could change. This applies also to the politicians. De crucial question is whether Mosouavi is ready be like the Iranian Jeltsin – we know how heavy Jelsin been examined and failed. The Iranian people are pushing him in that direction. Since the uprising of extreme violence Mousavi is leaded by the Iranian people, and not by the other way around. Besides the question is whether this 3rd Iranian revolution shall (within this century) succeed. The 2 earlier revolutions were failed. This revolution looks like the first one, constitutional revolution (1996) of Persian that had a concrete, with context of states rights. This is comfortable.
The most revolutions have brought a totalitarian regime. With the revolution of 1978 the youth did not know how the freedom and states rights on juridical, constitutional bases could be realised. On the contrary Imam Khomeini knew perfectly how juridical, by using al Sharia and the political theological dogmas, could establish a totalitarian theocratic regime. However the states rights – and political awareness of the current generation are far better than the old generation. This generation is suffering from the totalitarian regime who wants to architect the personal life style and to make choices for the citizens.

What are the political scenarios?
The first possibility is that Mousavi could be a president, and by the first accomplishment of his promises will clash with the constitutional restrictions of his power and influence. Then he needs again to mobilise the population for a new constitutional design.
But the coming days the situation could goes different. In this scenario Rafsanjani will act like the chairman of the parliament with clergyman’s experts, that they appoint or dismiss the leader, and doing his at most best to remove Khamenei. Mousavi should take care for the transition. But, yes, in reality the 3rd possibility is the more predictable: the suppression and massif slaughtering of the oppositions. This does not have to happen today or tomorrow. It could happen gradually. Then we are on the eve of the Persian drama. Moreover Israel shall be obliged, with the permission of the western world, to start the military confrontation with Islamic Iran. Nevertheless, it will be the hot and bloody summer. Persia shall be once more punished (bleeding) for the fatal mistake of the 30 years ago.

What do you mean what God do i mean? There is only one God my friend, and believe it or not, he has everything to do with everything. The very fact that you say he has nothing to do with solving problems, shows your lack of belief.

Which God you mean? God has nothing to do with helping solving the problems. Islam is a problem for the Middle East and people are the victim of Islam. Allahu Akbar, get rid off the Mullah's and president of Iran. Get rid off the Totalitarian Arab Islamic regimes. Please do not abuse God to cheat the peaceful and freedom loving people.

My god, you all amaze me.
Shahristani lived in Iran, as it was the only place he had to go to after escaping. He hen moved to Canada and then london. This does not make him a canadain spy, or a british spy, or an iranian spy.

Maybe Shahristani hasnt done alot for the long run, but i wouldnt either if i was minister. He dealt with what was happening right then, with the 48 hour lines, and the people suffering.

He was given a very hard time from the begining when the pipes were being bombed day after day.

Its my wish, for him to be questioned, just for you all to hear the other sides of whats going on.

How many of you live in Iraq, work there for the people? Who went back like he did to serve his country? Stop wasting time complaining, accusing, and start doing something worthwhile.

May Allah bless him, and curse his enemies.

Iraq will be divided in 3 hard regional states, whether we like it or not, the Iraqi?
The promised Kurdish land of Kirkuk will be returned to the beloved and devoted Kurdish people.
With your Rabbabah and Qasip, you the Arabs nationalist will never and ever have the dare any more to fool the Kurdish people.
Iraqi, means insulting which no brave and suffered person in former Iraq will be proud to say; I am an Iraqi!
You know why? Because your Saddam demonstrated the whole world, how brutal the Arabs fascist could be. All in the name of Islam and Anfal.
Shame on you the Iraqi.

Hi I am new to this forum, and from my name you can tell I am a Kurd, and proud of it. Iraqi, you are a racist pig, but it gives me great pleasure knowing that everyday u turn on the tv and hear the words "Iraqi President Jalal Talabani" must be as painful to you as the sound of Bayan Jabers death squads drilling holes into the skulls of Baathist murderers. So yes, what goes around comes around, and it hascome around, and the sooner Iraq is rid of the hateful and poisoned Arab chauvanism, of the type you proudly pronounce, the sooner Iraq might resemble a country in the 21st century. No matter how much u huff and puff, Iraq will never return to it's old ways.
