Four kidnapped oil workers were released Monday, ending more than a month in captivity, after their captors were paid a $500,000 ransom.The victims – two Iraqis, one Palestinian, and one Lebanese – are employees of the Athens-based Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC) who had been working near the Rumaila oil field, at the company's pipeline fabrication plant.
