Iraq's northern export oil pipeline began pumping Monday morning, four days after an explosive device detonated underneath it south of Mosul, spilling oil and taking it offline.
Oil Ministry spokesman Assem Jihad said crude began flowing again at 5 a.m. Monday. A source at the North Oil Company said pumping had already ramped up to 500,000 barrels per day (bpd) by midday.
