Q&A: Peshmerga General Secretary Jabar Yawar

ERBIL - The Peshmerga forces of Iraq's autonomous Kurdistan region have been on the front lines since so-called Islamic State (IS) militants took over Mosul in June and pushed toward Erbil in August.

These events have forced a measure of reformation on the Kurdistan Regional Government's (KRG) chief security force.
