Five more firms get Nassiriya bid approval
As the Oil Ministry gears up to award the Nassiriya oil field and refinery project in December, a total of at least 12 companies are now qualified to bid.

Iraq has now qualified at least 12 companies for the December bid for the Nassiriya oil field and refinery project, after announcing Thursday that five more international firms have been approved.
Russia's Rosneft has been cleared to participate in both the development of the 4.4 billion field and the construction of the 300,000 barrel per day (bpd) refinery, to be fed exclusively by the field.
