Iraq finishes 2018 with record-breaking exports

Federal Iraq posted its highest monthly export total to date in December and, combined with Kurdistan, set a nationwide annual record.

Iraq's oil sector finished its most prolific year in history with a record-setting month of exports.

The federal government and the autonomous Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) combined for a total of 4.159 million barrels per day (bpd) of exports in December * - more than 100,000 bpd above the previous high-water mark, set in December 2016.
