BAGHDAD - The new government of Prime Minister Adil Abd al-Mahdi has been given one month to provide information about a new law it has proposed to reconstitute the Iraqi National Oil Company (INOC), the Federal Supreme Court said in a hearing Sunday, in an ongoing case challenging a March 2018 law to restart the company.

The challenge to the earlier INOC law was filed by Iraqi oil experts and the government of Missan province, which argue that a number of the articles violated the constitution.
