Iraq's Oil Ministry is poised to increase oil exports through the northern pipeline system by selling crude to companies in Basra for overland trucking, according to multiple senior Iraqi oil officials.

The trucking is likely to begin "within days," according to a senior official at Iraq's oil marketing company, SOMO, and will contribute to a rising trajectory of northern export volumes.
