South oil official executed in his house

Official tasked with South Oil Company purchasing was murdered in his home, police said.

BASRA - Qais Ayoub, the South Oil Company (SOC) director of purchasing, was killed Tuesday night when armed gunmen raided his home, company and security officials said.

There are few details available, but local police and the forensics team have begun an immediate investigation.
