Basra commits to making business easier

BASRA - Basra's governor has vowed to make life easier for U.S. companies doing business in the province.

Khalaf Abdul Samad, speaking at the American Business Conference at the Basra International Hotel, addressed the perennial bugbears of customs and visa delays faced by companies in the oil and construction sectors, which need to import heavy equipment and rotate staff.
