Diyala rejects new oil products official

NASSIRIYA - Diyala's administration has rejected the appointment of a new oil products director in the province, branding the move an illegitimate encroachment on provincial powers.

"The Oil Ministry has taken a decision to appoint a new director without the knowledge of local administration and the provincial council," said the Diyala provincial council press office director, Turath Azzawi.
