Kirkuk deputy gov survives bombing

KIRKUK - Rakan Saeed al-Jibouri, the deputy governor of Kirkuk province, was targeted with a roadside bomb in Riyadh, south of Kirkuk city, in an attack that injured some of his bodyguards.

Mohammed Khalil al-Jibouri, a member of the Arab Block in Kirkuk's province, said the deputy governor was en route to work.
