KRG receives payment under interim oil deal
<p>The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) has received most of an oil payment promised by Baghdad, the latest sign of progress for a temporary oil deal that may improve the prospects for negotiations over Iraq’s 2015 federal budget and oil disputes.</p>

ERBIL - The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) has received most of an oil payment promised by Baghdad, the latest sign of progress for a temporary oil deal that may improve the prospects for negotiations over Iraq’s 2015 federal budget and oil disputes.
“An installment from the $500 million that is released by the Iraqi Federal Government to KRG has arrived yesterday and the rest will be delivered today,” said Safeen Dizayee, the KRG’s spokesman, in a Tuesday interview.
