Korea’s state-run gas company has won a $127 million contract to build a 110-kilometer pipeline linking the Iraqi cities of Kirkuk and Baiji, officials said Friday.

The Korea Gas Corporation (KOGAS) said it will sign the contract with the Middle East nation’s Oil Pipelines Company (OPC) this month. OPC is a state-run company controlled by Iraq’s Ministry of Oil.
