Anbar's autonomy deadlineRAMADI - The Anbar provincial council has temporarily postponed a formal declaration of autonomy in hopes of the central government agreeing to eight demands.A statement from the provincial council said a poll of "tribal leaders and government departments" in nine districts of the province found 77 percent supported a federal region similar to the Iraqi Kurdistan region.The move follows Salahaddin and Diyala province council's voting to become a region.
