BAGHDAD - Iraq exported an average 2.228 million barrels per day (bpd) in January, earning more than $7 billion despite a drop of 113,000 bpd from December due to winter weather and a pipeline attack.

Iraqi crude sold as Kirkuk and Basra grades from Turkey's Ceyhan port and Iraq's export terminals in the Basra Gulf averaged $102.4 per barrel, said Falah Alamri, the director general of the State Oil Marketing Organization (SOMO).
