Iraqi Cabinet decisions: July 12, 2016
Whenever the media office of the Council of Ministers releases decisions of the Cabinet, Iraq Oil Report publishes a translation from the original Arabic.
Prime Minister and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Dr. Haider al-Abadi, confirmed that our heroic forces are making quick progress in Mosul liberation operation, and that ISIS is collapsing, ISIS's dead members are hundreds of fighters in Qayara, in addition to other hundreds of ISIS dead in Fallujah, as well as about one thousand terrorists killed in the operation of striking the ISIS's convoy that attempted to escape toward the Anbar's desert. This represents a strong reply in the favor of the victims in retaliation after the cowardly terrorist attack in Karrada and Balad.
While chairing a Cabinet meeting Tuesday, he called on Iraqis of all political forces to unify their efforts to keep the military achievements in Fallujah and Mosul, making the fight against ISIS a priority, and to mobilize all the efforts to support the victories, and to not allow ISIS to achieve its goals through disagreements to weaken the internal cohesion.
