The head of Iraq’s Parliament energy committee says it has pressed the Iraqi cabinet for clarifications on the oil law so Parliament can begin debates.
Ali Belo, chairman of the Oil & Gas Committee, said the law is necessary for the Iraqi government to approve oil and gas development deals in the Ministry of Oil’s bidding round, set to be awarded at the end of this month.
