Oil police killed along export pipeline, workers kidnapped
In a bloody day in Iraq, six Oil Police members were killed and two drilling company workers were kidnapped amid widespread bomb attacks.

KIRKUK - An Oil Police outpost guarding the Iraq-Turkey Pipeline (ITP) came under attack south of Mosul by gunmen who killed at least six officers.
The late Saturday night attack was the first of dozens of attacks over the following 24 hours, which included the Sunday kidnapping of two Iraqi Drilling Company workers in Kirkuk, and bombings that claimed more than 30 other lives in coordinated attacks throughout Iraq, including in predominantly Shiite areas and mostly south of Baghdad.
