Iraqi militants Asaib Ahl al-Haq have announced that the body of slaughtered hostage Alan McMenemy could be returned to the UK. The security guard was captured in Baghdad in 2007 along with Lincoln IT consultant Peter Moore.
Here Mr Moore, who spent two and a half years in captivity, tells Paul Whitelam of the six months he spent locked up with McMenemy and explains how the pair always believed they would survive
