Iraq's oil production fell by about 90,000 barrels per day (bpd) in April as the Oil Ministry cut production from state-operated fields in Basra.
Fields controlled by the federal government averaged about 4.43 million bpd, down from 4.52 million bpd in March, according to an Iraq Oil Report estimate based on data collected independently from each of the country's producing fields. Fields controlled by the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) produced just over 300,000 bpd, unchanged from recent months.
