BAGHDAD - A bomb exploded inside a mosque within the Daura refinery compound Monday night, killing three and injuring 22. The attack capped a particularly bloody day for Iraq in which more than 50 people were killed.

In the morning, a series of 13 coordinated car bombs targeted predominantly Shia areas of Baghdad. The attack at Daura, at about 7:30 p.m., was especially notable because, unlike the other targets, the Al-Mustafa mosque is inside a very tight security perimeter.
