Deadly fire at Dhi Qar asphalt plant

NASSIRIYA - One person was killed and four injured in a large fire at an asphalt plant in Dhi Qar province.

"The fire was accompanied by a powerful explosion, which was heard far from the area where the incident occurred," said a member of the Dhi Qar Civil Defense Department, speaking on the condition of anonymity.
