Going it alone on gas

The Ministry of Oil will develop the Akkas and Mansuriyah gas fields itself, following the June 30 bidding round ending in both fields unsigned.

Indian firm BGR Energy released a statement it was awarded an $80.5 million contract to supply materials for the fields.
