Shawwal, another engineer, and two others believed to be a driver and security guard, were abducted on April 13 on the road connecting Baiji and Haditha at a fake checkpoint set up in an area largely controlled by the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS) and other violent groups.
