  • Iraqi forces battle IS militants in Zanjali, Shefa’a, and Bab al-Jadid, trying to create corridor for trapped civilians to flee
  • Iraqi forces discover multiple sites of IS executions, including a prison, and the remains of several dozen victims
  • Airstrikes hit Old Mosul, destroying an IS IED factory as well as three civilian homes. Unknown number of civilians killed.
  • Badr forces declare liberation of several villages in Ba’aj district
