Iraq maintains steady output as OPEC meeting approaches

Iraq's nationwide crude production held steady in January at just over 4 million barrels per day (bpd), according to an Iraq Oil Report analysis based on data collected independently from each of the country's producing fields. *

The data suggest the country is producing slightly above its OPEC quota, although rising global crude prices are likely to help Iraq avoid harsh scrutiny.
