Nationwide oil production dropped to new multi-decade lows in April as the Iran war continues to choke off most of Iraq's southern exports.
Output fell to 1.41 million barrels per day (bpd), down from 1.85 million bpd in March, and far below the 2025 average of 4.79 million bpd, according to Iraq Oil Report production estimates derived from data collected at each field.
