Iraq oil production up as key fields change hands
Nationwide oil production continued its month-on-month increase in September, and the Oil Ministry has plans for that to continue.

Oil production across Iraq increased by around 15,000 barrels per day (bpd) on average in September, reaching a recent high of 4.674 million bpd.
Oil Minister Jabbar al-Luiebi has set a target of 5 million bpd by the end of the year – reachable with continued growth in southern Iraq and pending development and political deals in the north.
