Iraqi oil exports increased to 3.405 million barrels per day (bpd) in September*, according to a senior Oil Ministry official, compared to 3.381 million bpd in August.
The country's oil sales are likely to rise further in the coming months after a breakthrough in negotiations led to a resumption in northern pipeline exports to Turkey on Sept. 27, two and a half years after they were taken offline.
