Iraqi oil production continued a gradual but steady rise in October, as the OPEC-plus coalition decided to raise output caps further in the short term but pause the loosening of quotas in the first quarter of 2026.
Production at oil fields managed by the federal government averaged 4.64 million barrels per day (bpd), according to an Iraq Oil Report analysis based on data gathered from each producing field.* Federal output has been rising steadily since April, roughly in proportion to OPEC-plus quota policies.
