Iraq's nationwide oil production increased by about 120,000 barrels per day (bpd) in 2025 as the Oil Ministry took advantage of loosening OPEC-plus quotas, according to an Iraq Oil Report analysis based on monthly data gathered from each of the country's producing fields.

Federal fields averaged 4.50 million bpd in 2025, up from 4.36 million bpd the prior year. KRG fields averaged 285,000 bpd for the year, down from 308,000 bpd in 2024.
