Minister expert says Shell gas deal within two months

Asri Mousa says technicalities, not politics, have delayed the joint venture to capture Basra gas.

ISTANBUL - A proposed joint venture between Iraq, Shell and Mitsubishi has been delayed by the complexity of such a deal not politics, said Asri Mousa, chief expert to the Iraqi oil minister.

"We hope we can finalize in a month or two months," Mousa said on the sidelines of a conference here.
