October oil exports down but revenue up

Increased oil price and southern export boost helps Iraq see more oil income last month than September, despite northern output drop.

BAGHDAD - Iraq’s oil exports continued a three month decline in October but increased global oil prices helped offset the impact of the decline, according to new oil ministry statistics.

Northern exports were the culprit, since southern exports increased in October. An attack on the pipeline took out exports for eight days (six in October), though this doesn’t account for the total decrease.
