KIRKUK - At least two improvised explosive devices (IED) exploded at the Bai Hassan oil field on Saturday morning, days after another bomb exploded at another Kirkuk-area field and two weeks after an accident took part of Bai Hassan offline.

"Daesh's sleeper cells in the area are the ones to be accused of the attacks," said Brig. Gen. Sarhad Qadir, the general director of police for Kirkuk's districts and sub-districts, using a term for the Islamic State (IS) militant group.
