Q&A: Rabun Marouf of the New Generation party

ERBIL - New political entities are emerging to challenge the historical dominance of Iraqi Kurdistan's two dominant parties.

The trend began in 2009, with the founding of the Gorran Movement, which sought to give voters a third option, beyond the dynastic politics of the Barzani family's Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) and the Talabani family's Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK).
