September oil production edges higher

Iraq's oil production increased slightly in September, as the OPEC-plus group continued its recent trend of loosening quotas on an accelerated schedule.
Fields under the control of the federal government averaged 4.59 million bpd, up from 4.58 million bpd in August, according to an Iraq Oil Report analysis based on data collected from each producing field.* Fields in the Kurdistan region averaged just under 270,000 bpd.
